Works by Bach, Benda and Vivaldi

Presented by:

Just how stimulating concerts in the gardens and coffeehouses of Baroque Germany could have been transpires in J.S. Bach’s delicious and humorous miniature quasi opera, his Coffee Cantata. Like today, such events were sociable occasions to enjoy musical works so fresh their ink wasn’t yet dry, or else foreign compositions sometimes arranged for the forces at hand. So savour the moment!

Arion is thrilled to announce our partnership with Brûleries FARO - Roasting houses for our opening concert, "Music in Cafés and Gardens"! This collaboration will allow us to offer a free coffee-tasting to our audience during each performance!
