Built between the walls of the old Erskine and American Church, the new Bourgie concert hall of the Musée des beaux-arts is an audacious project which will associate music and art. Connected to the museum through an underground gallery, the Bourgie concert hall is equiped to present concerts all year round. The hall, with its ideal acoustics for the baroque repertoire, will be hosting Arion Baroque Orchestra 2011-2012 season.
All Montreal concerts of the orchestra will take place in this breathtaking hall where the audience will be amazed at the sights and sounds of art and music! The hall is located in the Claire and Marc Bourgie Pavilion. Each floor of this pavilion presents a different period of the Canadian and Quebecer art.
