Dmitry Sinkovsky, violin (Russia)

Co-founder of Pratum Integrum, an ensemble specializing in early Russian music, member of Musica Petropolitana and guest conductor for countless ensembles, Dmitry Sinkovsky moreoever recorded a series of works by Georg Philipp Telemann, Anton Ferdinand Tietz, Antonio Rosetti, Johann Christian Bach and quartets by Joseph Woefl. His recordings have been lauded by international early music magazines such as Diapason, Revista Musica and Prelude and Toccata.
Laureate of many international competitions, Dmitry Sinkovsky’s repertoire encompasses a wide range of musical periods, from 16th to 18th century works such as sonatas and concertos by Biber, J. S. Bach, Leclair, Tartini, Corelli, Vivaldi et Pisendel as well as numerous later works. Since 2005 Dmitry has been teaching violin in the Early Music Department of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Moscow. Dmitry plays on a violin by Franscesco Ruggeri, Cremona 1680, kindly on loan from The Jumpstart Jr. Foundation.

Jaap ter Linden, chef invité et violoncelliste (Netherlands)
One of the pioneers of early music, Jaap ter Linden was principal cellist of Musica Antiqua Köln, The English Concert and the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, before he moved into the spotlight, as soloist or chamber musician and as conductor. Besides being a long–time collaborator of Arion Baroque Orchestre, ter Linden leads many period orchestras in Europe, USA and Japan, notably Boston Handel & Haydn Society, Tafelmusik, San Francisco Philharmonia Baroque, Concerto Köln and Portland Baroque, and modern orchestras such as Amsterdam Sinfonietta, the Arnhem Symphony Orchestra, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie and the Münster Symphony Orchestra. ter Linden also boasts an extensive discography and award-winning recordings for labels such as Harmonia Mundi, Archiv, ECM, Deutsche Grammophon and Brilliant Classics. In 2006, Jaap released his second recording of the Bach Cello Suites.
