Settled in Montreal for seven years, François is actively involved in the musical life of the city. He performs regularly with Ensemble Caprice, the Arion Orchestra, Les Violons du Roy, and with the wind quintet O5.
After obtaining the degree at Poitiers and a first prize at Versailles, François was admitted to the Conservatory Supérior of Lyon in the class of Laurent Lefèvre, where he also studied the baroque bassoon. After receiving his prestigious award, Francois went on to join the wind quintet «impromptu concert» for one year.


During this time, Francois continued to further his education in classical and romantic bassoon with the orchestra at The Abbaye aux Dames de Saintes founded by Philippe Herreweghe, under the direction of renowned conductors such as Marc Minkowski, Bernard Labadie, David Stern, Jérémie Rohrer,Andreas Spering, Hervé Niquet, and Philippe Herreweghe ...


Since 2008, Francois has played in orchestras such as the Opera Bastille, La Petite Bande, l’ensemble Matheus, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, Opera Tours, Auvergne Orchestra, the orchestra du Capitole de Toulouse , the Colonne orchestra, the Orchestre Lamoureux, Le Palais Royal, the Ensemble Caprice, the Arion Orchestra, Les Violons du Roy, The orchestra of Trois-Rivière, Laval ...
