Keiran Campbell

Keiran Campbell started studying cello at age 8 in Greensboro, North Carolina.  After studying with Leonid Zilper, he received his Bachelors and Masters at the Juilliard School, working with Darrett Adkins, Timothy Eddy, and Phoebe Carrai.  Keiran also worked closely with Steven Isserlis and Ralph Kirshbaum at Prussia Cove.  Keiran is now based in Toronto and is a core member of Tafelmusik.

 

Keiran often performs with orchestras including The English Concert, Le Concert Des Nations, NYBI, and Philharmonia Baroque.  During the summer, he has performed with The Boston Early Music Festival Orchestra, Teatro Nuovo, Lakes Area Music Festival, and the Carmel Bach Festival.  In 2019, Keiran toured Europe with Le Concert Des Nations and played on Savall’s new Beethoven Symphonies recordings.  Select recent performances include concerto appearances with Tafelmusik and Philharmonia, Monteverdi Madrigals with Jordi Savall at Carnegie Hall, and Handel’s Serse with The English Concert and Harry Bicket at Carnegie Hall.
